Our Mission
Welcome, and on behalf of everyone involved in the success of Project "Remembering Our Heroes", my sincere thanks for taking the time to view this site. We ask that you spend a moment to listen, and reflect on these men and women in uniform above, who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our great country. For all who have lost loved ones in these conflicts, our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your families. We will never forget their sacrifices that have allowed us all to continue to live under the banner of freedom.
Through the efforts of many, Project "Remembering Our Heroes" will honor and memorialize all of our fallen heroes from the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. When the sitting administration declares an end to combat operations in Afghanistan, and we bring our troops home, a date will be selected. On that day at 3PM EST and 12PM PST, at exactly the same moment across the United States, every confirmed primary family member of a fallen hero will simultaneously be presented a memorial display as shown above.
We ask that this website be viewed and its content passed on to as many individuals as possible throughout the USA and our territories.. If you have lost a family member in any of the conflicts, we urge you to register them on this website. If you know of someone who has suffered the loss of a loved one in any conflict, we ask that you contact them to come to this site and register. Regretfully, we are only able to access contact information of those primary family members who have signed disclosure statements. It represents only one third of the total fallen to date. The Department of Defense cannot legally release information on those who did not sign. Therefore; it must be provided voluntarily by the primary family member.
Our goal is that no one be omitted from this memorable and historic event. It is a challenge, but a small price to pay to honor those who sacrificed for us. We feel through this website, word of mouth, and other social media, we can achieve our stated goal.
